about

I was moved to create these imitations of his soundtrack work by two virtual instruments, one being, of course, Arturia's amazing CS-80 V, and the other being the Waves Electric Grand Piano (the Yamaha CP-70/80) which Vangelis used on studio recordings, despite its being positioned as a stage instrument. Tony Banks did the same in the 80s on Genesis albums such as "Duke'. This track looks to the Pacific Islands of the late Eighteenth Century and to a future Los Angeles which is now in our past.
